Experiments that never see the light of day
A quick ask!
Most experiments never make it into a paper. They might be small optimisations, they might be inconclusive, or they might fail altogether. They sit in lab notebooks or ELNs and are forgotten.
But just because these experiments aren’t worthy of a paper, does not mean they aren’t valuable. They are the substrate that all major discoveries are built upon.
We believe that this work deserves to see the light of day so that all of science can move faster. And that scientists get the credit for doing it.
